Flight Control Academy is a division of Sonoran Wings Flight Training Centre, Inc. of Tucson, Arizona. The Academy is located at the Tucson International Airport with easy access from Interstate Highway 10.
Flight Control Academy is authorized by the FAA to conduct an Aircraft Dispatchers Certification course to meet the requirements of FAR Part 65 C. Successful course graduates complete the FAA-ADX knowledge exam and Practical Test exam to obtain an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate.
Aircraft Dispatchers are employed by Airlines and Charter Services and are equally responsible with an airplane's Captain for a safe and timely flight. The dispatcher is responsible for planning and in-flight monitoring of commercial flights.
